Drama at work
Drama at work. Drama at work. What to do about all the drama at work?
I’m caught somehow.
Didn’t mean to be. Made it clear to those involved to keep me out of it.
But now somebody is crying in her office because of some Facebook note (she had to explain Facebook to me first).
Getting out my wallet and my scarf. More flowers, damnit. A girl shouldn’t be crying on a Monday.
Drama at work. Drama at work.
And my neck hurts!
ETA: No—no more flowers, damnit.
ETA2: A pick-me-up from down the street has helped. Yummy yummy yummy . . .

No day is a good day for a girl to cry — Mondays are awful as are Fridays. The weekend is definitely out and Wednesdays should be tear-free as it is such a sad middle day. That leaves Tuesdays and Thursdays and . . . no, those days get no respect, and don’t need girls crying.
Flowers are wonderful as are lovely desert yummies. (Hey look, there are flowers on the one in the picture!!)

Ha!
I just hate freak-outs at the office. But you are right: every day is an awful day to cry. And: I bought that cupcake for me!

Hi W, I sent you an e-mail and hope you received it! Are the flowers on that cupcake edible? Which bakery is it from?

So edible, it’s a sin. The cupcake is from Cupcake Cafe. I will bring some to your reading if it’s your wish.
And yes, I got your (wonderful!) e-mail—but it’s taken me a while to finish composing, because I want it to be good! I shall hit send in the morning.

Oh goodness, you’re too sweet — if you happen to be passing the bakery and it’s not too much of a hassle to carry cupcakes on the subway, then I would love some, but really — cliched as it is to say this — your presence would be more than enough! I can’t go around demanding cupcakes from my audience on top of everything else!
Oh take your time with the e-mail, I only thought to mention it here because you said you don’t check that account very often.

I’ve never carried cupcakes on the subway, but my experience with loads of shopping bags has prepared me, don’t you worry. And you can demand whatever you want from your audience—it’s your reading!
